Privacy
Policy.
Last updated: 14 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Freedom Co ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you visit thefreedom.co or interact with our content, ads, emails, and digital products.
We are the data controller. Contact us at tom@thefreedom.co. Registered address: 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Company number: 16785947.
1. What we collect
- Information you give us — name and email when you unlock the meditation library, send a message via the contact form, apply for a programme, or sign up for our newsletter.
- Technical information — IP address, device type, browser, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location (derived from IP).
- Cookies and similar technologies — see section 7 below.
- Marketing engagement — whether you opened or clicked our emails, and whether you arrived from one of our ads.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the content, meditations, and programmes you've requested.
- To reply to enquiries and process applications.
- To send you marketing emails (only where you've consented or asked us to).
- To measure how our website and ads perform, and to improve them.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
We rely on the following lawful bases:
- Consent — for marketing emails, non-essential cookies, and advertising pixels.
- Contract — to deliver products and services you've signed up for.
- Legitimate interest — to keep the site secure, measure aggregate usage, and tell you about closely related offerings.
- Legal obligation — where we must keep records (e.g. tax, consumer protection).
You can withdraw consent at any time — see section 8.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers we need to run the business:
- Hosting & backend — Lovable Cloud (which uses Supabase) to store form submissions and serve the site.
- Email delivery — our transactional and marketing email provider.
- Advertising — Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook / Instagram) when we run ads and measure their performance. If the Meta Pixel is loaded on the site, it will receive limited event data (page view, button click, sign-up) — but only after you've accepted cookies.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns.
- Payment processors — where you purchase a product, the payment processor handles card data directly; we don't store it.
- Professional advisors and authorities — where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK / EEA, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US / UK–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
6. How long we keep it
- Email subscribers — until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we don't email you again.
- Contact form messages — up to 24 months from your last contact.
- Customers — for the duration of the relationship plus up to 7 years for tax and accounting records.
- Server logs — typically 30–90 days.
8. Your rights
Subject to local law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO — ico.org.uk).
To exercise any of these rights, email tom@thefreedom.co.
9. Children
This site and its content are not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on our backend. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top, and where required by law, we'll notify you directly.
